Curriculum Structure The mathematics curriculum at BISZ is designed to follow the British Key Stage system, which provides a progressive structure leading from foundational knowledge to advanced abstract reasoning:
Key Stage 3 (Years 7–9): Students build on basic arithmetic and algebraic understanding from primary education, focusing on number operations, geometry, algebra, probability, and statistics. Emphasis is placed on conceptual understanding, pattern recognition, and developing confidence in handling numbers and equations.
Key Stage 4 (Years 10–11): Students prepare for the Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics examinations. The IGCSE course aims to provide a strong grounding in essential mathematical concepts such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and introductory calculus. What to expect Costume Parade & Photos — Students show off imaginative outfits in year-group parades.
